Zoë Kravitz has already listened to Taylor Swift’s new album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, and said that there isn’t a single track she would skip.
Swift announced her highly anticipated 12th studio album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ last week – confirming the album’s release date, tracklist and producers.
It marks the follow-up to her huge LP ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, which arrived in 2024 and was followed by her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’.
Now, while Swift continues to drop hints about what fans can expect from the record and when it is set to arrive, Kravitz has shared that she has already listened to the full album, and given it her seal of approval.
Speaking to Extra alongside Austin Butler while promoting their new Darren Aronofsky crime thriller Caught Stealing, the actor said that she was impressed by Swift’s new material.
“I’ve heard bits of it… It’s fantastic,” she said, remaining relatively tight-lipped when asked for further details about if the record is “a banger”. “Yeah, of course… No skips,” she added.

Kravitz has been friends with Swift for years now, and previously worked with the pop star on her 2022 album ‘Midnights’. As shared by Daily Mail, she co-wrote the tracks ‘Karma’ and ‘Lavender Haze’, and also provided some backing vocals.
The High Fidelity star also discussed her friendship with the ‘Bad Blood’ singer during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – shortly after watching one of her ‘Eras’ shows at London’s Wembley Stadium – and more recently recalled how she once “destroyed” Swift’s bathroom after her mother’s snake got into a hole in the wall.
While Swift first announced a new record was on the way last week, further details about the album arrived as she made her first-ever appearance on the New Heights sports podcast – hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason, who are both professional American football players.
Sharing the inspiration for the songs, she said ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ will focus on her life behind-the-scenes of the ‘Eras’ tour, and how it felt like “the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life”.
Swift has also unveiled four limited-edition deluxe variations of ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ on CD – all of which contain special artwork, booklets, photocards and more. Unlike last year’s album, however, the new, 12-song LP will not come with any additional tracks in the different variations.
In the run up to the new album being shared, the singer has also ruled out plans to hold a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, prompted a response from Kylie Minogue following comparisons to her ‘Showgirl’ era tour, and left some fans convinced that she will headline next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
