Fans of Zach Bryan won’t be able to see him perform in Kansas City again, at least according to the musician.
This past weekend, the country singer-songwriter found himself embroiled in yet another online feud with fans of Kansas City’s American football team the Chiefs. Bryan, who has been a longtime supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles, prompted a mini-war between himself and Chiefs fans on August 9, when he taunted them on social media.
“Where are all the three peat people from last year,” Bryan instigated on X (formerly Twitter), referencing the Kansas City Chiefs’ failed attempt at three consecutive Super Bowl wins after their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this year.

Fans of the Chiefs soon flooded the comments, firing back at Bryan and the Eagles. One fan wrote: “3 Super Bowl wins 5 seasons. Eagles have won 2 in their 70 year history. Sit down Eagles fan from Oklahoma.” Another chimed in: “The Chiefs won more Super Bowls in a 5 year span than the Eagles have won in franchise history :/”
One fan called Bryan out, “Go fuck yourself. You keep talking that shit and yet tour here. Don’t come back.” The fan doubled down, explaining to other users that he was “just tired of this dude always talking shit but has no shame in coming and taking these peoples hard earned money”, later saying “talking shit in general is all good. He’s singled out one fanbase. That same fanbase that sells out his shows.”
This promoted Bryan to respond: “Please understand I will never play in Kansas City.”

In a separate tweet, Bryan posted about what would happen if he plays in Kansas City again: “I’ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.”

It’s not entirely clear if Bryan is serious about never performing in Kansas City again, though he seems to suggest his tweets were all in fun: “I missed it here guys let’s piss some people off” and “guys it’s okay to talk trash to each other about football yall are weird as hell”.

In other Zach Bryan news, he recently performed at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where he surprised those in attendance with a special guest in the form of Bruce Springsteen and Caleb Followill, frontman of Kings Of Leon. Together, the three of them – and Bryan’s backing band – performed Springsteen’s 1982 classic ‘Atlantic City’ from his beloved album ‘Nebraska’.
Later on in the night, Springsteen joined Bryan onstage once more, this time to close out the show with ‘Revival’.
Last year, the singer-songwriter and guitarist’s name was featured in the list of the Top 10 highest-grossing music world tours for 2024. Coming in at Number Eight, his ‘Quittin’ Time Tour’ reportedly drew in $199.1million (£156.9million). Others on the list included P!nk, Coldplay, Bad Bunny, Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones.
He also recently teased a new film project called Motorbreath with Matthew McConaughey. He confirmed a new on-screen project was in development to celebrate his last “major label album”.
