Microsoft has confirmed the first wave of titles that will be joining Xbox Game Pass over the next couple of weeks – check out the full confirmed list below:
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that gives both Xbox and PC players access to a massive library of games. To keep things fresh, new titles are constantly being added while other games are removed.
September saw a number of huge titles added to Xbox Game Pass including the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong, brutal survival title Frostpunk 2 and the brilliant Hades. Ahead of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7’s launch next month, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was also added to Game Pass. Now Microsoft has confirmed the first wave of games set to join the service.
All the games confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2025:
- Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light – out now for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers
- Keeper – October 3 for PC and Ultimate subscribers
- Sopa – October 7 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers
- Ball x Pit – October 15 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers

Back in May, more than 50 classic games were made available for Game Pass subscribers as part of Microsoft’s Retro Classics. “This initiative is a step in our commitment to game preservation and backwards compatibility, allowing players to experience many timeless games on modern devices,” explained Microsoft.
More recently, CEO Satya Nadella claimed the service had earned Microsoft nearly $5billion in revenue for the first time this year, following reports that more than 35million people now subscribe to Xbox Game Pass. A number of big Day One releases have already been confirmed to launch at some point in 2026.
In other news, EA CEO Andrew Wilson has reassured fans that the company’s values will “remain unchanged” following a $55billion takeover from a group of investors including Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner (CEO of Affinity Partners) and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
