It inspired Jonathan Mann, who is also behind the Song A Day YouTube channel, to create a video game based on the incident.

Coldplay Canoodlers AKA The Cheating Game is available to play now. Players take on the role of a kiss-cam operator and have to scan the crowd of a stadium show looking for the loved-up pair. The whole thing is soundtracked by a 16-bit reworking of Coldplay megahit ‘Viva La Vida’. Check it out here.

“I vibe coded a little game called Coldplay Canoodlers. You’re the camera operator and you have to find the CEO and HR lady canoodling. 10 points every time you find them,” Mann explained on X. “I wanted to see how fast I could vibe code a simple game based on a viral moment. Started at 4pm yesterday. Still too slow (viral moment is already over),” he added.

The original post has been viewed more than 5million times and Coldplay Canoodlers has gone viral across TikTok. To celebrate the game’s success, Jonathan Mann also wrote a song inspired by the viral moment of the viral moment.

Speaking about the awkward couple at the time of the gig, Coldplay’s Chris Martin said: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

At the first show following the incident, Martin warned the crowd what they were about to do to try and stop it happening again. “We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen. How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.”

Oasis’ Liam Gallagher also made a joke about the kiss-cam couple during one of their huge Manchester dates that took place over the weekend. “Do we have any lovebirds in the house? Don’t worry, we don’t got any of that Coldplay snidey fucking camera shit. Doesn’t matter to us who you’re fucking mingling with, or tingling with, or fingering with. It’s none of our fucking business,” he said before ‘Slide Away’.
