Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna appears to have misunderstood a joke made about her on South Park, using her caricature on social media.
Season 27 of the animated satire has aimed the majority of its jokes at the Trump administration, depicting the US President as being in a relationship with Satan and also having a micro penis. In the show’s most recent episode, Sickofancy, various business and political figures visit Trump and offer gifts, always ending their compliments by assuring him that he doesn’t have a tiny penis.
A cartoon version of Luna appeared in the episode, remarking: “Mr. President, you have so many great ideas. Your leadership is truly beyond anything we have ever had in this country. And you do not have a small penis.”
The real-life Luna appeared to be unaware she was being mocked, sharing a screenshot of her cartoon self on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption “#NewProfilePic”.

Her mistake was pointed out in the comments, with one user writing: “They’re laughing at you, not with you.” And another adding: “Sweetie, when South Park makes fun of you, it isn’t the flex you think it is”.

Sweetie, when South Park makes fun of you, it isn’t the flex you think it is, unless you are asked to voice your own character and are in on the joke.

The White House has previously condemned the depiction of President Trump and his allies in a statement, remarking that the show “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years.” The show’s creators responded with a mocking apology at San Diego Comic Con in late July.
The series has also taken aim at government agencies on X/Twitter, telling an official account to “eat a bag of dicks” after it used a screenshot from an episode as a recruitment post for I.C.E. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
Luna’s fellow Republican, United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, took issue with the show’s unflattering depiction of her, to which the animation responded by sharing an unaired clip of her opening fire on a pet store.
