Tom Cruise has attended Oasis‘ first Wembley gig – despite Noel and Liam Gallagher previously sharing their dislike of him.
The film icon’s attendance was confirmed by Goldie, who shared a selfie with Cruise from Friday’s (July 25) gig at the stadium.
It comes after Oasis were previously caught on camera slamming Cruise in their 2007 tour film Lord Don’t Slow Me Down, where Noel declared: “He’s a little fucker, and he’s not been in one good film in his entire career.”
Liam then agreed that Cocktail was “great”, before saying: “I hate Tom Cruise. Bastard. Him and Michael Owen.”

Cruise wasn’t the only famous face to attend Oasis’ gigs in recent days, with Pulp‘s Jarvis Cocker and Dua Lipa also spotted in attendance at Saturday’s (July 26) gig as the band got the crowd to do The Poznan celebration.

Fans shared their delight at the “unbelievable” first night of their Wembley gigs, which included a tribute of ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Star’ to Ozzy Osbourne following the Black Sabbath frontman’s death last week. They also projected a picture of Osbourne on the screen during ‘Live Forever’.
Oasis kicked off their Live ’25 tour earlier this month in Cardiff, before playing five homecoming nights at Manchester’s Heaton Park. Their Wembley residency will continue this week on Wednesday (July 30), Saturday (August 2) and Sunday (3), before hitting Edinburgh. They will also play two additional Wembley dates on September 27 and 28.
In NME‘s five-star review of their Cardiff debut, we said: “The returning Britpop heroes sound awesome, look cool as fuck, and deliver the greatest hits of greatest hits. Lord knows we need this escape.”
In other news, Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski has suggested a way to get Cruise to work with Brad Pitt again after their turn in Interview With The Vampire.
“Well, right now, it’d be Cole Trickle, who was [Cruise’s] Days of Thunder character, we find out that he and [F1 lead] Sonny Hayes have a past,” he told GQ.
“They were rivals at some point, maybe crossed paths … I heard about this epic go-kart battle on Interview With [The] Vampire that Brad and Tom had, and who wouldn’t pay to see those two go head-to-head on the track?”
