Taylor Swift is keeping it 100 and having one of her best weeks ever!
Swift dominated the charts with “The Life of a Showgirl,” ruled the box office, and dropped plenty of new Travis Kelce engagement details.
Taylor’s wildest dreams have come true, as she has officially passed Madonna as the female artist with the most multi-platinum albums in the U.S.
Her latest album “The Life of a Showgirl” has sold more than 3.5 million copies, beating Adele’s hit record “21.”
During a recent appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Taylor said, “It’s just been kind of the most joyful album release I’ve ever had, and you guys have everything to do with that.”
Taylor has been on the tongues of critics since her album release, a feeling that she knows all too well!
She recently said, “The rule of show business is if it’s the first week of my album release and you are saying either my name or album, you’re helping.”
There has been criticism of her latest album, but she’s choosing to just shake it off!
In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Taylor noted, “I welcome the chaos. I have a lot of respect for people’s subjective opinions on art. I’m not the art police.”
Along with the album, Swift has been more than happy to talk about her engagement to Kelce.
Taylor hasn’t spilled on a wedding date, but she opened up about the proposal on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
As for how Travis lured her outside to pop the question, Swift told Fallon, “He’s like, ‘Do you want to go and just walk around the backyard and have a glass of wine?’ I’m like, ‘I’m always going to want to do that.’ Then I realized exactly why all of the windows were curtained and why he was nervous.”
“Extra’s” Derek Hough recently spoke with Taylor’s choreographer Mandy Moore, who dished on the “Fate of Ophelia” music video!
Moore called Swift “the real deal,” adding, “One of the most fun moments on set I’ve ever had.”
The music video has 27 million views since it debuted on Sunday.
