Today, Swift has shared more information about ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, which she first announced on Tuesday (August 12). Following the album’s announcement, she shared a playlist that she had curated for the record, which hinted at collaborations with producers Max Martin and Shellback.

Upon first announcing the album, Swift’s website – where pre-orders are available – listed that the record would ship out on October 13, 2025, suggesting that the album’s release would come before that. She also hadn’t shared the album’s cover art at the time.
Now, Swift has revealed everything you need to know about ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, including its tracklisting. ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ is officially set for October 3.
As previously hinted, the album was co-produced by Max Martin and Shellback, as well as Swift herself. As for the album’s tracklist, it consists of 12 songs and only one feature: Sabrina Carpenter will join Swift for the title track – which also serves as the album closer.

Speculation around the new album picked up in May when Swift revealed that she now had control over her entire back catalogue of music after buying back her final masters from Shamrock Holdings.
Fans took note of the line, “all the times I was thiiiiiiiiiiiis close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through”, seizing on the fact she used 12 “i’s”, which they hoped signalled a follow up to ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, her 11th studio record.

Prior to announcing the album, Swift launched a cryptic countdown clock on her website that came to an end at 12:12am ET on Tuesday (August 12). Once the countdown timer ended, her site was updated with pre-orders for the album, and clips of her first-ever appearance on her boyfriend’s podcast New Heights were shared across social media, where she unveiled the title of the record.
