Swift shared the news on her Instagram account, posting a carousel of photos of her and the Kansas City tight end embracing in a garden. There is also a photo featuring a close-up of her engagement ring. The post is captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The pair have been in a relationship since 2023, with Kelce saying he “threw the ball in her court” after seeing her ‘Eras’ show at Arrowhead Stadium in July of that year. They sparked dating rumours after Swift attended a few of his Chiefs games in September, and confirmed they were together a month later.
Swift recently announced her new album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ earlier this month on her first-ever appearance on the New Heights sports podcast, hosted by Kelce and his brother Jason.
Meanwhile, new details about their relationship are reportedly set to be revealed in a new Kansas City Chiefs documentary.
The six-part ESPN series also explores the team’s explosion in popularity since 2023, when Taylor Swift began attending Chiefs games and was romantically linked to Travis Kelce. Speaking to PEOPLE at the August 24 premiere event, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt opened up about the docu-series and how it reveals “unique” elements of Kelce’s relationship with Swift.

Hunt explained that The Kingdom offers up a “fun… little peek into Travis’ relationship with Taylor” and reveals a “unique” aspect of their romance that they’ve never addressed in public before.
In addition, Kelce recently gave an interview to GQ in which he discussed their relationship and his admiration for her epic, three-hour stage ‘Eras Tour’ shows of the last few years.
“To go out on stage, on a computer, essentially, for three hours,” he said. “The [Eras Tour] floor is literally – I’ve seen underneath that thing. It is a football-field-sized computer. You take that into Singapore, where it is scorching hot, and all of a sudden you’re feeling the fumes from the computer and you’re feeling the fumes from the sun and you’re doing a show for three hours with a lot of energy, bringing it every single song. That is arguably more exhausting than how much I put in on a Sunday, and she’s doing it three, four, five days in a row.”
Speaking about the similarities in their respective careers, he continued: “I hadn’t experienced somebody in the same shoes as me, having a partner who understands the scrutiny, the ups and downs of being in front of millions. That was very relatable, seeing how exhausted she would get after shows.”
“She may not think of herself as an athlete. She will never tell anyone that she is an athlete. But I’ve seen what she goes through. I’ve seen the amount of work that she puts on her body, and it’s mind-blowing.”
This is a breaking story.
