Arc Raiders Celeste’s Journals Quest Guide

In Arc Raiders, Celeste has requested that you find two of her journals she left topside, and it’s going to take a bit of effort to round them up. In the aptly-titled Celeste’s Journal quest in Arc Raiders, you’ll need to visit two separate locations on opposite ends of the Dam Battlegrounds map to collect this trader’s possessions, so strap in for quite a raid.

If you want to make things easier on yourself for Celeste’s Journals, you’ll want to equip an augment with a safe pocket, as you’ll need to extract with both of the journals and return to Speranza to complete this quest. This can be tough to pull off due to the long trek you’ll need to make through potentially dangerous areas to gather both of them, so also be sure to bring a decent gun and enough ammo to keep you feeling safe.

When you’re ready to set off and finish this challenging quest, follow the steps below. Just remember that it’s probably best that you loot the outpost closest to your spawn point first, then head off toward the other.

Where to find Celeste’s journal at the South Swamp Outpost

One of Celeste’s journals can be located within the South Swamp Outpost. This is a clearly defined building in the southwestern portion of the swamp.

Head inside the South Swamp Outpost and look for the journal on the corner of a bed here. Loot it and place it in your safe pocket if you have one.

If this is the first journal you’ve picked up, set a marker for the Northern Outpost and begin the long trek up there while evading any ARC or other raiders when possible.

Where to find Celeste’s journal at the Northern Outpost

One of Celeste’s journals is found within the Raider Outpost East, which the quest refers to as a northern outpost. This spot is found just northeast of the Power Generation Complex POI, which can be a tricky spot to pass through due to ARC patrols.

Carefully make your way up to the outpost, then head inside and check the small sideways bed for the journal. Pick it up and place it in your safe pocket if your loadout supports it.

If this is the first journal you’ve grabbed, place a marker for the South Swamp Outpost and begin your trip there while staying out of sight of any ARC or raiders that may stand in your way.

Extracting with both journals

You need to extract from Dam Battlegrounds with both of Celeste’s journals in your inventory, which can be a bit tricky. Since you’ve had to do so much traveling, you’ll have exhausted a lot of time from the 30-minute raid clock, meaning the ARC has likely populated the map in larger numbers. As such, you’ll want to make your way to the nearest extraction elevator as carefully as possible while avoiding being seen.

When you extract with the journals in your inventory, you’ll complete the quest and be able to turn it in at Speranza. Here’s to hoping for a successful extraction, raider.
