Super Furry Animals have added extra dates to their 2026 tour and released their long-lost song ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Flu’.
Earlier this week (September 29), the Welsh indie greats announced a 20th anniversary reissue for their 2005 album ‘Love Kraft’, alongside their first run of live shows since 2016.
The ‘Super Furry Animals Supacabra Britain & Ireland 2026 Tour’ consisted originally of six shows in May next year, including a major show at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on May 22.
Now, they have added three additional dates to the tour due to “overwhelming demand”, with a second date at Glasgow’s Barrowlands on May 9, a second at Llandudno’s Venue Vymru on May 15 and a second at the Brixton Academy on May 23.
Tickets are available for all shows here.

The band have also shared one of the four unheard tracks to be included on the ‘Love Kraft’ reissue, in the form of ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Flu’, which features lead vocals from drummer Daf Ieuan.
The song bears the Super Furries hallmark of infectious, melodic, psych-pop chaos and dates to the album’s original recording sessions. Listen to it here:
Ieuan has said: “It’s a song about one of the very worst hangovers I have ever had. We were on our way to Tokyo, and I took in some refreshments before taking off and topped up during the flight. Arriving in a totally different time zone and being unable to sleep, we took off into the night when we got there. The perfect conditions for absolute dehydration. Which tour was it? Well, your guess is as good as mine.”
The 20th anniversary reissue of ‘Love Kraft’ will be available on double vinyl, 2CDs, including the 22-track bonus CD ‘Kiss Me With Apocalypse’, and digital formats on October 24 via Cardiff-based independent label Strangetown Records. Pre-order/pre-save it here.
The album saw all the members of Super Furry Animals contributing songs and lead vocals for the first time, and the record was named after a sex shop near the Cardiff offices of the band’s management team, although it is also a nod to the horror/sci-fi writer H.P. Lovecraft.
In a review of ‘Love Kraft’ on its original release in 2005, NME wrote: “Until the most remote Amazonian jungle tribes are humming ‘Demons’, then, ‘Love Kraft’ will remain just another mind-bendingly great, often dazzling SFA record – not quite up there with ‘Radiator’ due to its brace of shonky ballad filler ( ‘Cloudberries’ and ‘Cabin Fever’), but easily as engaging and full of the wild possibilities of pop music as anything else in their peerless canon. Dive, dive, dive…”
The most recent Super Furry Animals album was 2009’s ‘Dark Days/Light Years’ and their last tour was the ‘Fuzzy Logic and Radiator 20th Anniversary’ tour in 2016.
