Titled The Woman In The Hat, the show will revolve around US President Donald Trump’s recent announcement about demolishing part of the East Wing of the White House.

As per the episode’s synopsis released by Comedy Central, the episode will see the White House “with a disruptive spirit from the east wing,” while “Stan worries that South Park has become too political.”

A preview image of the episode sees Trump and his in-show lover, Satan, overseeing the demolition of the White House. In another teaser, you can see other figures from the Trump administration haunted by ghosts.

Recent episodes of the animated satire have made Donald Trump a target of many of its plot lines, portraying him as being in a relationship with Satan and also having a micro penis. The White House initially condemned Trump’s portrayal, remarking that the show “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years.” The show’s creators responded with a mocking apology at San Diego Comic Con in late July.

The show was also embroiled in controversy following the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on September 10. Many MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters argued that a previous episode of the show, where the character Eric Cartman parodies Kirk, fostered hostility toward conservatives and drew links to the murder. However, Kirk’s producer said the influencer “loved” that he was featured on the show.

Fellow long-running cartoon The Simpsons recently asserted that it would be avoiding politics for its new season, pointing to the difference in production times with South Park, who make their shows in the course of a week and are able to approach more timely topics.
