Prime Big Deal Days are officially here, and they’re bringing us great discounts on all sorts of video games. That’s especially true for both Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted and the Poppy Playtime Triple Pack. Both are now available for just $20–and the latter is officially down to the lowest price we’ve ever seen. The deals will likely disappear when the event ends on October 8, so if you’re looking for a few spooky games to play this October, be sure to take a peek at the sale while you still can.
$20 (was $40)

The discount for this bundle is the most impressive of the two, as it’s seeing a full 50% price reduction. You’ll also get three unsettling horror games in one, as the Triple Pack includes Poppy Playtime Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and Chapter 3. As a bonus, the bundle includes reversible cover art and a Poppy Playtime sticker sheet.
$20 (was $30)

Though it’s not seeing a 50% price cut, this is still one of the better deals we’ve seen this year for the game. It briefly dipped to $18 in May, but beyond that, the game has largely stuck to full price. You won’t get any bonus sticker sheets with this title–but considering it’s quite resistant to price drops, the $10 discount is quite impressive.

Both games have earned solid reviews from players, though it’s Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted that’s garnered a bit more attention. It sees you repairing a variety of equipment and systems, all with the looming threat of deranged animatronics hiding in the shadows. It’s essentially a roundup of mini-games that take place in the FNaF universe, including scenes from older titles like the original Five Nights at Freddy’s and Sister Location.
Poppy Playtime Triple Pack, meanwhile, has you working through the first three chapters in the Poppy Playtime series. Like FNaF, it features a cast of creepy animatronic characters, with each chapter introducing a new furry face to the lineup. The game starts with the main character, a former employee of the Playtime Co., getting an invitation to return to the production facility. Things quickly spin out of control, however, and what follows is a unique horror game that’s earned a cult-like following.
Looking for more horror games? Alan Wake 2 is an easy recommendation, thanks to its surreal environments, emotional storyline, and thrilling gameplay. Our Alan Wake 2 review gave it an incredible 10/10, so be sure to check it out if you haven’t already. There’s also the newly released Silent Hill f, which is also earning incredible review scores thanks to its nuanced story, fun ombat, and grotesque environmental designs.
For something a bit different, consider turning away from your TV and checking out the Arkham Horror board game. The cooperative mystery game has you and your fellow players solving puzzles and slaying cosmic monsters–and its highly replayable nature makes it a great game to have on your shelf.
As for Freddy, other games to check out include Security Breach, The Core Collection, and Help Wanted 2. There’s also fun Funko Bitty Pop: Five Nights at Freddy’s Collection that gets you four tiny figurines to display around your home. It’s quite cheap for Big Deal Days, so give it a look if you want an affordable way to decorate your game room or office.
