The future of the Legacy of Kain series is a mystery, but thanks to a few recent re-releases on modern platforms, fans new and old and revisit the beloved gothic fantasy world of Nosgoth. If you’ve yet to pick it up, you can get the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Remastered collection for $20 (was $30) or the Deluxe Edition for $40 (was $50) during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event happening October 7 and 8. The discounts apply to the physical PS5 and Switch editions.

The Standard Edition of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered includes enhanced versions of Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2. These games originally launched for the PS1 and PS2, respectively, and they follow vampire-turned-wraith Raziel on his quest for vengeance against his creator–and protagonist of the first game in the series, Blood Omen–the vampire lord Kain.
The remasters include a toggle to swap between the original or updated visuals on the fly, plus a few tweaks to the gameplay. However, the core gameplay, story, and voice acting remain untouched. Along with the games, the collection also includes archival behind-the-scenes content and other bonus materials.

The Deluxe Edition includes the games and all the bonus materials from teh standard edition, plus a soundtrack CD, an art book, an exclusive steelbook cover, and a collector’s box.

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event includes price cuts on hundreds of other video games, including the acclaimed co-op game Split Fiction, which is discounted to $40 (was $50) across all platforms. If you’re in the mood for horror, you can get both Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted and the Poppy Playtime Triple Pack at a huge discount, and while it’s not interactive, the steelbook editions of Halo Season One and Season Two are on sale for 50% off.
