Today (September 24), they shared news of the highly anticipated album ‘Shish’, which is set to arrive on November 7 via KNIK, the band’s imprint on Thirty Tigers. You can pre-order/pre-save here.

To mark the announcement, they’ve shared two of the album’s singles, ‘Tanana’ and ‘Mush’. Speaking about the newly shared songs, frontman John Gourley said: “‘Mush’ is survival, connection, and ambition. Rural life with moments of danger and absurdity, like dirt bikes, smokers, gunfire, and video games.

“The repeated line ‘we can be family’ pushes against isolation, reaching for something solid. This is a repeating theme on the record – build a life, support your people, buy land, and grow something lasting.”

He continued: “The message is simple: don’t give up, want more, and fight for it. Meanwhile, ‘Tanana’ voices a generational sadness, searching for fleeting meaning in a world on edge.”

Portugal. The Man have also announced their headline European and UK Headline Tour dates that will take them across the pond for a month-long tour in spring next year. General sale for the trek kicks off at 10am local time this Friday (September 26).
