On top of these cosmetics, players will gain various other rewards for leveling up, such as items, gifts, postcards, and increased storage capacity.

The mobile game has also introduced a new type of item for players level 15 and above called the Daily Adventure Egg. Each day that players log in to the game, the Daily Adventure Egg will automatically be placed in a special Incubator. After players explore 1 km, the egg will hatch and bestow 10,000 XP.

The leveling overhaul arrives in the midst of Pokemon Go’s Tales of Transformation season, which is set to add new Mega Pokemon and other content as part of various event slated for the next several weeks. The Harvest Festival event is currently underway until October 16 and introduced both Dipplin and Hydrapple to the game.

Once the Harvest Festival concludes, Pokemon Go will host an event to commemorate the launch of Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Later this month, the game will hold its annual Halloween celebration, which will add a few new ghost types along with new costume-wearing Pokemon.
