Over 40 musicians and DJs have already been lined up for the event, including soloist and former frontman of The Jam, Paul Weller, along with Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie.

Paul Simonon of The Clash has also been added to the bill, as has Jerry Dammers of The Specials. At the event, each will be holding their own DJ set to raise money for those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. The event will span across eight hours, and the layout will see performances in four rooms at the venue.

Others performing at the Artists For Gaza event – which was launched by Chris Sullivan – include four-time world DJ champion and Scratch Perverts co-founder DJ Prime Cuts, as well as Howie B, and Aitch B of Soul II Soul (as per Mixmag).

It marks the third Artists For Gaza event over the past year. The first was held in November 2024, and the second was held in March 2025, and they raised around £34,000 for the UNICEF Gaza Appeal.

“This is not just a fundraiser. It’s a refusal to look away,” reads a description for the upcoming event on the website.

“It’s collective grief and collective joy. It’s the belief that art and music can help heal and nourish kids, who by no fault of their own, are suffering immensely. Expect DJs, live music, artwork, and collective care. Expect community. Expect feeling. Expect resistance.”

This isn’t the first time that Gillespie and Weller have come together to raise awareness and funds for Palestine. Last December, the two of them joined Kneecap for a ‘Gig For Gaza’ charity show at the O2 Academy Brixton.

That event was described as a way to bring together “some extraordinary talent to raise much-needed funds and awareness”, and all proceeds went directly to MAP (Medical Aid For Palestinians) and Gaza Forever – both of which provide essential aid, including food, medical supplies and emergency shelter, for those suffering in the city.

Also involved in the show was Robert Del Naja of Massive Attack, who designed the official artwork for the event.

Before then, Primal Scream collaborated on a shirt design for a Palestinian refugee football team, and Weller expressed his support for Palestine by saying that he was “against genocides and ethnic cleansing” and performing with a Palestinian flag draped over his guitar amp.

The two artists also joined dozens of artists in signing a letter from Heavenly Recordings supporting the right to freedom of expression for musicians and artists, following the backlash to Kneecap speaking out for the people of Palestine and pressures to have them dropped from festival line-ups.

Others who got involved included Pulp, Fontaines D.C., IDLES, Massive Attack, Enter Shikari, English Teacher, The Pogues, Lankum, Toddla T, Sleaford Mods and Thin Lizzy.

Weller was last month seen as part of the huge crowd that gathered as Kneecap’s Mo Chara made his appearance in court in Westminster, charged with a terrorism offence. The rapper appeared in court just days before their Glastonbury 2025 performance and was given unconditional bail.
