The Oasis website has crashed after Chris Evans promised fans “big news for 2026” and Liam Gallagher toying with fans online.
Around 8am this morning, Evans made remarks regarding the iconic Manchester band on his Breakfast Show, telling listeners that Oasis news was arriving today (October 2) – adding that it’s “big news for 2026”.
Following Evans’ comments, the oasisinet.com website reportedly crashed around 9am, displaying an ‘Error 44’ and ‘access denied’ message to visitors. The website is no longer down as of 12pm.
Liam Gallagher has also been stoking rumours of what’s in store for Oasis. On the band’s final night of their giant Wembley gigs on September 29, Liam told the crowd: “See you next year”.
He went on to whip up a frenzy on X/Twitter yesterday (October 1), telling fans that there was a “big announcement coming soon” and to “keep your eyes peeled”.
After asking fans if they were “ready” and checking if they needed “another 5 mins“, he announced: “Rite [sic] this is it we’re going in – I AM THE FUCKING BOLLOCKS”.
Gallagher then shared a tweet reading “MMXXV11”, but swiftly deleted the tweet – with one fan suggesting the frontman “wants Oasis to break the Internet again“.
