Oasis have announced Richard Ashcroft as their support act for their South American shows.
The legendary Britpop band are due to round off their mighty reunion tour, finishing in South America in November 2025. There, Liam and Noel Gallagher and co. will visit Chile’s Santiago and Argentina’s Buenos Aires, before finishing with two huge shows in São Paulo, Brazil.
Now Oasis have taken to social media to announce Richard Ashcroft as their support act for the entire South American leg.
The former Verve frontman has so far accompanied the band alongside fellow support acts Cast through all their UK and Ireland shows – including their homecoming Heaton Park shows, their huge Wembley Stadium gigs, two stops at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and two stops in Dublin’s Croke Park.
Oasis are due to visit Asia and Australia alongside South America soon – take a look at all remaining dates below:

Ashcroft has said that the Oasis tour was “a real catalyst” for young fans, telling TalkSPORT recently: “We’ll probably see this come through into the culture in three years time. It won’t be next year, it’ll be two or three years when those 16, 17-year-olds have got those bands together.
“The beauty of what Oasis did, what Noel did by writing those 22 bangers – I mean, that was phenomenal for me to see – [the tour] really brought on what an incredible songwriter he was. To see it back in mainstream culture again and to see young kids be influenced by that, it’s so much better if you do your own thing, I think.”
Meanwhile, rumours have begun swirling that Oasis may announce more dates for 2026. Liam memorably teased more to come at their final Wembley gig, with him announcing: “‘Champagne Supernova’, see you next year.” He then playfully slapped himself on the wrists to scold himself for letting it slip.
Last week, the Oasis website crashed upon Chris Evans promising fans “big news for 2026”. Then, Liam took to X/Twitter today (October 9) to further tease fans, saying: “it’s not even HALF TIME yet. It’s a tour of 2 half’s”.
In other news, Richard Ashcroft is due to go on a run of solo headline arena dates early next year to support his new album, ‘Lovin’ You’.
