No Man’s Sky Players Are Going Wild With The New Ship Builder

The latest No Man’s Sky update, entitled Voyagers, added one of the best-liked features in the nine years since the game’s release as well as its highest player count since launch: custom Corvette ships. No Man’s Sky has been all about extreme customization since first adding base building, and the Voyagers update is no different. Players are already building absolutely off-the-wall corvettes, and each one is better than the last.

For starters, there’s a billboard-sized pixelated portrait of Hello Games’ co-founder and No Man’s Sky lead Sean Murray.

Another user wants to taunt the Sentinels of No Man’s Sky by making a giant sized Sentinel Walker.

Murray himself is reposting some of his favorites. For example, others are creating odes to their favorite products and characters. What better way to fold spacetime than with a Nokia flip phone?

Hello Games is a British studio and has tons of British fans. As such, one user felt compelled to pay tribute to other British creations, making ships based on Thomas the Train and the menacing penguin from Wallace and Gromit.

One Redditor built a cruiser based on the anything-but-subtle ships of Warhammer.

The No Man’s Sky subreddit is filled with all kinds of creations, too. There’s an SR-71 Blackbird, a Doctor Who TARDIS (or maybe it’s just a police callbox), and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Turtle Van.
