No Man’s Sky Is Getting Five Days Of Twitch Drops To Celebrate Voyagers Update

Hello Games has just dropped the massive Voyagers update for No Man’s Sky, adding brand-new, fully-customizable Corvette class starships. The studio has set up five days of Twitch drops to celebrate the update, giving away loot ranging from base decor to cute alien critters to cool starships. Here’s how you can redeem the free loot for yourself.

The No Man’s Sky Twitch drops will run for five days from August 28 to September 1, with different loot on offer each day. Each daily drop includes five free items or bundles, with different watch times needed to unlock–ranging from 15 minutes for basic decals and decor, to 3 hours to unlock starships and vehicles.

To claim the Twitch drops for yourself, you’ll need to link your platform account to your Twitch on No Man’s Sky’s website, then just watch any streamer playing the game with drops enabled between August 28 and September 1. Rewards need to be claimed on Twitch within 24 hours, but once they’ve been claimed there’s no rush to pick them up in game–the rewards will be waiting for you even if you don’t own the game yet.

The No Man’s Sky Voyagers update adds the new Corvette class of starships–larger ships that can be fully customized both inside and out, and can carry more than one traveler. The update comes with a heap of new content as well as the Corvette ships–such as a new spacewalk feature where you can float around the outside of your ship, or even jump to a friend’s ship. Check out everything else new and changed in the Voyagers update.
