The Death of Sleep Deluxe Edition is the first Bloodborne graphic novel to receive a hardcover edition. It has larger, higher-quality pages and superb new cover artwork by horror artist Piotr Kowalski.
Longtime readers of the series will appreciate the extra content that’s exclusive to the Deluxe Edition. It has over 30 pages of new material, including commentary on the adaptation process, production artwork, and the original script for Bloodborne #1 by writer Ales Kot. The Deluxe Edition is 144 pages, whereas the standard paperback edition is 112 pages.
Volume 1 collects the first four comics in the Bloodborne comic book series. Not unlike the game, it stars a nameless Hunter on a quest to find the Paleblood and escape Old Yharnam, the nightmarish ancient city plagued by all sorts of Gothic-inspired horrors.
While some of the plot points in the series resemble parts of the game, the series also has its own stories and introduces new characters who don’t appear in From Software’s game.

Titan Comics just published Bloodborne: The Graphic Novel Collection Vol. 4-6 on November 4; it’s only discounted by a few bucks, but it is part of Amazon’s B2G1 Free Sale.
Like the first box set, this one includes three trade paperbacks totaling 336 pages, exclusive art cards, and a decorative slipcase. Trade paperback editions of Volumes 4-6 are available separately for $16.73 (was $18) each.
Piotr Kowalski illustrated all three volumes in this box set, but Ales Kot exited the project after The Veil, Torn Asunder, the fourth collection of Bloodborne comics.
Cullen Bunn, the co-creator and writer of the critically acclaimed comic series Harrow Country, wrote the scripts for the comics collected in Lady of the Lanterns and The Bleak Dominion. Bunn is also a novelist, and his debut horror novel for adults actually released today (November 11).

If you’re interested in Bloodborne comics, chances are you’d enjoy the Dark Souls adaptation, too. The Dark Souls: The Complete Collection is the best place to start, as this 384-page omnibus comes with the first four volumes in the series and a short story anthology. The only volume not included is The Willow King, which was published last September. The aforementioned Slipcase Set only includes the first three volumes in the series.
Mother of Mourning, the next Dark Souls graphic novel, will be the start of a new story arc.
Dark Souls also has a manga series called Redemption. Published by Yen Press in budget-friendly paperbacks, Dark Souls: Redemption has two volumes so far. Bonfire, the second volume, released in July and is on sale for a couple bucks off.

From Software’s latest hit, Elden Ring, doesn’t have a graphic novel adaptation, but you can spend more time in the Lands Between by reading The Road to the Erdtree manga. The manga is a comedy, so it’s significantly different in tone compared to the game. Six volumes have been published by Yen Press since its 2023 debut. It’s a great time to catch up, as Volume 7 hits stores November 18. Volume 1 is in Amazon’s B2G1 Free Sale, and multiple other volumes are discounted right now.
Sekiro Manga

Yen Press also published a self-contained manga based on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Dubbed Sekiro Side Story: Hanbei the Undying, the 144-page manga takes place before the events of the game. It’s also included in Amazon’s B2G1 Free Book Sale.
