Melody’s Echo Chamber have today (September 30) announced details of a new album, ‘Unclouded’, with dreamy new single, ‘In The Stars’ – check it out below.
The project of French musician Melody Prochet, details of her fourth album ‘Unclouded’ were announced today together with the release of the dreamy, new psych-tinged single. The album will arrive on December 5 via Domino.
In a statement about the new work, Prochet said: “The music I create unusually inhabits the liminal zone between realism and fables, but the more experience I have of living, the deeper I love life and the less I need to escape.
“If my heart still belongs to the blue hour, it also feels like I’ve gathered up all the pieces of myself that were scattered everywhere and glued them together with gold like Japanese kintsugi,” she added, referring to the Japanese art of putting broken pottery back together with gold or silver lacquer.

A statement added that the title of the new album was taken from a quote by the Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki, about achieving equilibrium. The quote says: “You must see with eyes unclouded by hate. See the good in that which is evil, and the evil in that which is good. Pledge yourself to neither side”.
Speaking about the new album in the context of this, Prochet said: “I used to feel nostalgic growing into adulthood, but now that I understand that concept of impermanence, I don’t take it as personally anymore.”
On what inspired her on her new album, she added: “My deeper love for the living experience…I still get ups and downs but I’m faster at getting back to more harmonious feelings, enjoying the beauty of transient things and the bittersweet feeling of their impermanence.”
Alongside this, Prochet announced details of an extensive EU, UK and North American tour in Spring 2026, which includes a date at London’s Electric Ballroom.
