Seth Green has claimed that Marilyn Manson once punched comedian Andy Dick in the throat.
The Family Guy star recalled the alleged incident during a podcast appearance, sharing that he, Manson and Macaulay Culkin went on a night out in New York City while making 2003’s Party Monster.
“We were like walking down the street to go into this club, and Andy is like putting on a show,” he told Bill Maher’s Club Random. “And he just screams the second he sees me, ‘Seth, Rick James is dead!’”
While in the club, Green said that Manson made “meaningful eye contact” with him, while Dick was seen speaking to Culkin and then Manson.
However, while Dick was speaking to Manson, the music star “just hits him right in the fucking throat and Andy just sort of takes that hit”, with Green unable to hear what Dick had said to him beforehand.
“I’d love to say that Manson wasn’t quick to punch people,” Green added. “If you’re like too close to him, he’s definitely going to push you.”

Manson has been at the centre of a number of sexual assault allegations in recent years, including rape and domestic violence allegations from a number of women, which he denied as “falsehoods”. Prosecutors confirmed earlier this year that he would not face any charges due to the claims exceeding the statute of limitations, saying they “cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt”.
A gig Manson was due to play this month in Brighton appears to have been cancelled after a few MPs called for it to be axed.
In July, Black Sabbath fans criticised the inclusion of a video of Manson at the band’s farewell gig in Villa Park. Actor Chloë Sevigny also apologised last month after posing in a group photo with Manson at the Emmy Awards.
Meanwhile, Dick was made to register as a sex offender and sentenced to 90 days in jail and 12 months of summary probation after being found guilty of groping an Uber driver in 2018.
