Oasis have shared an “unplugged” version of ‘Morning Glory’ from the 30th anniversary reissue of their second album. Listen below.
The Britpop band will release the full celebratory version of their classic 1995 record next Friday (October 3). Pre-order/pre-save here.
It’ll contain five “unplugged” songs, produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and his engineer Callum Marinho. Over the summer, Oasis previewed the forthcoming collection with a stripped-back rendition of ‘Acquiesce’.
Now, Oasis have dropped the official “unplugged” version of the ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ title track. The cut will appear alongside acoustic takes on ‘Cast No Shadow’, ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’.
The original versions of these tracks all feature in the setlist for Oasis’ huge Live ’25 reunion tour. This weekend, the band will return to London for two more shows at Wembley Stadium. An official fan store is also opening in the capital ahead of the dates.

The London gigs this Saturday and Sunday (September 27, 28) will follow an initial five-night run at Wembley Stadium over the summer as part of Oasis’ UK and Ireland comeback tour.
They concluded the North American leg of their Live ’25 trek with two huge concerts in Mexico City earlier this month. Their Wembley performances this week come ahead of further dates in South America, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
Oasis have released some official live versions of tracks from different cities on the trek. So far we’ve had ‘Slide Away’ from Cardiff, ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ from Manchester, ‘Little By Little’ from London, ‘Bring It On Down’ from Edinburgh and ‘Wonderwall’ from Dublin.
Meanwhile, Liam and Noel have been gifted personalised football shirts from Polish club Lech Poznań – a nod to the viral moment at the start of ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ in their Live ’25 set.
When sharing his thanks for the gesture, Noel said that fans doing ‘the Poznań’ had been “THE highlight” of Oasis‘ reunion shows, with attendees from “all over the world” getting involved with the craze.
