How To Watch Call Of Duty: Next Today And Get A Free Beta Code, Plus What To Expect

Call of Duty: Next, Activision’s annual Call of Duty reveal event, is coming today, September 30, promising news and updates on Black Ops 7’s multiplayer, Zombies, and campaign. We’re also expecting updates on what’s next for the battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone.

It’s a major event for one of the biggest FPS franchises out there, and it’ll be streamed live for everyone to watch. Tuning in has a special bonus this year, as Activision is giving out Black Ops 7 early-access beta codes to people who watch for a set period of time.

Below is a rundown of everything we know so far about Call of Duty: Next and how to watch.

How to watch

Call of Duty: Next takes place on Tuesday, September 30, live from Las Vegas. The event will be streamed live in all the usual places, including YouTube and Twitch.

The event starts at:

  • 9 AM PT
  • 12 PM ET
  • 5 PM BST

Get a beta code for watching

People who watch on Twitch for one hour will receive a code granting them early access to the Black Ops 7 beta–this means they can start playing on October 2 before most other people. Another way to get in on October 2 is by preordering the game or subscribing to Game Pass. The beta opens for everyone else on October 5 and runs through October 8.

What to expect

This year’s Call of Duty: Next event will feature live multiplayer footage and Zombies gameplay from Black Ops 7, played by popular streamers. It’s likely there will be some Call of Duty: Warzone news as well. GameSpot is on the ground at the event in Las Vegas and will bring you all the big news.

Black Ops 7 launches on November 14 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It’s the second Black Ops game in as many years, following 2024’s Black Ops 6. Activision has said it’s aware some people might feel some amount of “fatigue” about back-to-back Black Ops games, but the developer believes it’s bringing enough new content and changes to make Black Ops 7 appealing.
