In the Hospital section of Cronos: The New Dawn, there is an optional puzzle you can complete to nab a new weapon. This comes during the time jump section of the hospital. Mild spoilers ahead.

During the time jump sequence in the hospital, where you must help a trapped Weronika who is stuck in an elevator. To the right of the elevators, you can find the Traveler’s safe room, which is also the hospital chapel. There is a locked backroom containing the Mace JER-5120, the double-barrel shotgun. In order to open the backdoor, you will need to gather two chalices in the hospital, one in the director’s office, and another in a ward locked behind a key card.
Director’s Office Chalice

Advance through the main mission in the hospital area until you get the first chemical compound and the doctor’s key card that opens locked areas. This will bring you to the Administration section of the hospital, and you want to go into this large room with large red fleshy tentacles going everywhere. There is a small side path you can walk down, leading to you ducking under some flesh.

On the other side, shoot the explosive visible through the hole in the wall to open the room. Inside you can find the note with the code to the Director’s Office, which was 9509 for me, but might be different for you, as some codes may be randomized. Head to the Director’s Office; the entrance is right before you enter the main room with the red tentacles. The chalice is inside the locked part of the office. You can drop this off to save inventory space before heading to the next area.
Operation Block Chalice

In the same hallway that leads to the Administration Block, about halfway down is the door leading to the Operation Block. Head through that door to find a second locked door, which can be opened with the Doctor’s Key Card. Once inside, you need to head, and you will see a cat run straight down the hallway. You need to head that same way, straight forward down the hall, take a right, and head into a series of smaller rooms, which loop back around the way you came.

It is important to know there are about five or six enemies, including one of the big ones, in this area, so be prepared for a fight. Once you head through the smaller rooms, you will encounter a cat, Bebola. The Chalice is sitting directly on a table in that same room. With both Chalices in hand, return to the safe room where the Chapel is.
Getting the Double-Barrel Shotgun

Place both Chalices on the chapel pew, the placement doesn’t matter. Once both are placed, a key will appear, which can unlock the door in the back of the room. Inside you can find some supplies, as well as the Double-Barrel Shotgun, which can’t charge, but does deal a massive amount of damage at point-blank range, at the cost of every shot using two shotgun shells.
