How To Get Grow A Garden Moonlit Fruit

As one of the first mutations you’ll probably get in Grow A Garden, Moonlit Fruit is somewhat easy to get if you know how. It may not be the most valuable mutation, only doubling each affected fruit’s value. However, they can get a large number of mutations simultaneously. So when combined with expensive plants and high-value mutations, such as Celestial or Sundried, the fruits you have are suddenly worth a fortune.

Heralded by the music changing to either Johann Debussy’s Clair De Lune or Eric Satie’s Gymnopédie No.1, this Grow A Garden weather condition is one of the few with a fixed time when it appears. Some items can help you focus the moon’s rays onto specific plants and pets that require no moon to spread this Grow A Garden mutation, so below are all the ways you can get Moonlit Fruit.

The Night Staff is one of those items that allows you to focus which of your plants to mutate with the Moonlit Mutation.

How to get the Grow A Garden Moonlit mutation

The easiest way to get the Grow A Garden Moonlit mutation to your plants is to wait until a night cycle or the Shooting Stars weather appears. Night will always appear at the same six times in a day at 20:30, 00:30, 04:30, 08:30, 12:30, and 16:30 ET, and 17:30, 21:30, 01:30, 05:30, 09:30, and 13:30 PT.

This is 30 minutes after every restock of the Cosmetic Shop, so keep an eye on that shop if you need to know how long you have left. There is a chance that the night cycle is one of the variants, so you’ll need to wait for the next one to get the specific Night weather, which grants a maximum of six plants the moonlit mutation every two minutes and lasts a total of ten minutes.

You can specifically target which fruit will get this mutation if you have a Night Staff placed nearby. In addition, two Grow A Garden pets – the Tanuki and Wolf – can also mutate your plants with Moonlit. However, the Tanuki also has a chance to give it Chilled or Choc instead, so the Wolf is guaranteed to provide the correct mutation.

While you can have multiple weather conditions active at once, such as rain and wind, only one of the nighttime weather conditions will appear at a time. This includes the Meteor Shower, which can give your plants the Celestial mutation, as well as the Blood Moon that gives them Bloodlit. While the Night Staff can affect where the Bloodlit mutation goes, you’ll need the Star Caller to affect the meteors during a meteor strike, but it works in the same way.

That’s pretty much it for how to get Moonlit Fruit, as it’s a relatively straightforward mutation to get onto your plants.
