Holly Humberstone has shared a Dracula-inspired new single ‘Die Happy’ – check it out below.

The Grantham singer-songwriter returned with a gothic love song, sharing the new track alongside a visualiser directed by Silken Weinberg (Ethel Cain).
Speaking about ‘Die Happy’, Humberstone explained that “I wrote Die Happy thinking about a fairytale at night, somewhere between driving fast with the windows down and
wandering through a crumbling old house.
“I took inspiration from The Bloody Chamber and Dracula and I wanted to show the feeling of throwing yourself into love fully and recklessly. There is danger in love.”

Humberstone’s last project was the EP ‘Work In Progress‘, which she released on March 2024 and previewed with the single ‘Dive‘.

We spoke to Humberstone around the time of her debut album The Cover, where she spoke about the challenges of writing music in a male-dominated industry as a woman.
“Things have started to change, but I used to assume it was a rarity to come across a woman in these spaces,” she told us. “It felt like a treat, even. I was so ambitious – and still am – but I had to ensure that I wasn’t letting external pressures impact the music I was making.”
