Activision has announced some nice new perks for the upcoming launch of Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded, including battle pass tier skips and double XP.
To celebrate the Black Ops 7 announcement, Activision is offering up 20 free battle pass tier skips for anyone who simply logs in to Black Ops 6 or Warzone now through September 16.
Additionally, Activision is giving everyone who downloads the upcoming Season 5 Reloaded update a pack of double XP tokens for player XP, weapon XP, and battle pass XP. Everyone who downloads the Season 5 Reloaded update and logs in to the Call of Duty HQ app through October 1 will get:
- Five 1-Hour Double Player XP Tokens (5 hours total)
- Five 1-Hour Double Weapon XP Tokens (5 hours total)
- Five 1-Hour Double Battle Pass XP Tokens (5 hours total)
Activision also clarified today that the Season 5 Reloaded downloaded will be “larger on some platforms” due to how the company is “reorganizing” certain Call of Duty content to prepare for the Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta in October. Activision did not reveal the exact file size, however.
Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded launches on September 4, featuring new maps, modes, weapons, and more. Head to Activision’s blog to see a complete rundown of what to expect.
In other Call of Duty news, Paramount has announced a deal with Activision to make a Call of Duty movie and potentially a TV series. Paramount boss David Ellison said he is a “lifelong fan” of Call of Duty who has spent “countless hours” playing Call of Duty games over the years. Paramount and Activision said they are working together to honor the franchise’s “rich narrative and distinctive style” with the movie.
