‘Too Much Part 1’ will arrive around six months after their most recent project ‘Day & Night’.
The group debuted in 2022 and re-organized into a quintet last year before releasing their second EP, ‘Love Tune’. In June 2023, the original four members of FIFTY FIFTY filed to suspend their exclusive contracts with Attrakt, which was later denied by a Seoul court. While all members initially appealed the decision, member Keena later withdrew her appeal and returned to the agency.
After a months-long legal battle, the agency terminated its contracts with members Saena, Sio and Aran. Attrakt later announced that FIFTY FIFTY would be re-organised with a new line-up centered around Keena, and later held overseas auditions in Singapore and Japan.

‘Love Tune’ scored a middling three-star review from NME, with Gladys Yeo writing: “As a whole, ‘Love Tune’ is a thematically consistent and decently performed pop record with few major faults. However, it hardly distinguishes itself from the wave of pleasant, easy-listening K-pop songs that have swept through the industry since the success of ‘Cupid’, with none of the songs feeling particularly unique to this newly minted quintet. It’s also hard to look past the comparisons to the original line-up of FIFTY FIFTY, especially when so little was done to transform their sound and image in this rebranding exercise.”
