Field Depot Locations In Arc Raiders

One of the best ways to progress your account in Arc Raiders during the early game is by completing quests. At first, you’re given tutorial-style quests that are intended to get you accustomed to the game’s mechanics and gameplay loop. However, after those initial quests are complete, you’re thrown straight into the action with some challenging objectives. One of the harder quests you’ll get assigned after your first few are complete is called Off the Radar, and this requires you to locate Field Depots in Arc Raiders.

To make matters even more difficult, though, the quest actually tries to unintentionally throw you off with the way it describes a Field Depot. If you’re looking to make Off the Radar simpler in Arc Raiders, take a look at the guide below for every Field Depot location.

How to find Field Depots in Arc Raiders

While Field Depots can be found on every map in Arc Raiders, you get the Off the Radar quest early enough that you should complete it on the starting map, Dam Battlegrounds. This map is by far the easiest in the entire game, both in terms of AI enemy difficulty and the level of other players that drop into the map. Still, if you wish to complete the Off the Radar quest on another map, you can still do it without too much trouble as long as you know what you’re looking for.

To identify a Field Depot in Arc Raiders, you’re looking for a small, makeshift metal building that has a radio tower jutting out from the top of it. You’ll also see a blue tarp on top of the building, but the quest description makes it sound like this blue tent is a Field Depot’s defining characteristic. In reality, the blue tent isn’t very big and you often can’t even see it from certain angles.

So, instead of looking for the blue tent, just make sure you see the radio tower on top of a rectangular, metal building. You could choose to go around Dam Battlegrounds or another map looking for the Field Depots yourself, but we have a screenshot showcasing all of the locations below. 1. In the forest on the western side of Dam Battlegrounds, just west of Water Treatment Control (called South Swamp Outpost)
2. Near the very southern part of Dam Battlegrounds, just south of the Electrical Substation
3. In the middle of the Loading Bay complex near Control Tower and Research & Administration
4. On the road between Control Tower and Testing Annex
5. On the eastern side of Power Generation Complex
6. On the northwest side of the Hydroponic Dome Complex, just inside the red line

In terms of picking the safest Field Depot to visit, there’s not one that’s a complete cakewalk. Most of them are in or around areas with decent loot and plenty of enemies, both AI and real.

However, if we were to choose the easiest Field Depot to complete the Off the Radar quest, it would be the one at the South Swamp Outpost. This Field Depot isn’t near a popular extraction zone, and it’s not next to a high-value point of interest, so it’s doubtful you’d see too many enemies roaming around. Just be careful about enemies from the Water Treatment Control location, and you should walk out alive.

Given how spread out the Field Depots are on Dam Battlegrounds, you should spawn near one regardless of where you drop in. While you can use the screenshot above as a guide, you can also zoom in on your mini-map and see the small outline of the Field Depots. On your map, they’ll look like generic 3D rectangles, but once you find one, you can lock in the location for the one you want to visit and then mark it yourself.
