Freakier Friday, the long-awaited sequel to the beloved 2003 Disney movie, is out now – but what songs are included? Find out below.

It sees the stars of Freaky Friday, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, return as Anna and Tess Coleman, the mother and daughter whose bodies were swapped thanks to a mysterious fortune cookie.

This time around, Anna and Tess are part of a four-way body swap that also includes Anna’s teenage daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter, played by Julia Butters and Sophia Hammons respectively.

See the trailer below, which heavily features Chappell Roan’s ‘Hot To Go!’.

The film was officially announced last March, and it is directed by Nisha Ganatra, who has previously helmed the films Late Night and The High Note, as well as episodes of HBO’s Sex And The City spinoff And Just Like That.

The films are based on Mary Rodgers’ 1972 novel Freaky Friday, with Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris starring in the first feature film version in 1976.

In a three-star review of Freakier Friday, NME wrote: “It’s heaps of fun watching Curtis chuck herself around the set in the name of slapstick as Lohan delivers the sort of poised performance she built her career on 20 years ago. Freakier Friday isn’t a flawless sequel but it does supply a satisfying nostalgia rush – hopefully, solid box office isn’t just millennial wishful thinking.”

As well as an original score by Amie Doherty, the film includes a return for Pink Slip, the band that Lohan’s character fronted in the 2003 film.

Speaking last year, Curtis said, “Let me just say this. There’s a song in this new movie that is going to the…” before Lohan finished her sentence, explaining: “It tugs on your heartstrings.”

“It will be a very popular song,” Curtis continued. “It’ll be the song of the summer next summer. I guarantee it. And I’m an old lady and so you should trust me on this.”
