Zimmer said of his involvement in a statement: “It’s an honour to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson. Together, they have crafted such a bold and moving series that has meant so much to audiences. Labrinth’s music has shaped the show’s identity and I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.”

Labrinth shared in a separate statement: “Another chapter in the Euphoria universe! So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season. Love x.”

Zimmer – one the world’s most beloved and renowned composers – is best known for his work on films such as Interstellar, Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, Gladiator, The Da Vinci Code, Dune, Dune Part Two, No Time To Die and more.

Recently, HBO’s executive vice president and Head of Drama Francesca Orsi also hinted that season three would likely mark the end of the hit teen drama series. She noted that the door’s still being left open for a potential continuation, but that season three is expected to be Euphoria’s last: “We’ve talked about it, I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end.”
