
Day6 have renewed their exclusive contracts with JYP Entertainment – find out more below.
Today (September 5), the K-pop boyband and JYP Entertainment took to social media to announce the contract renewals via social media. In an official statement, JYP Entertainment wrote to supporters of the group: “We will continue to show our fullest support for the bright future of Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, Dowoon, and for the fans who cheer for them.”

The contract renewals mark the second time the group have re-signed with JYP Entertainment since debuting – the group last signed a new contract with the label back in 2022.
Today also marks the release of Day6’s new album, ‘The Decade’. It contains 10 tracks: ‘Dream Bus’, ‘Inside Out’, ‘Sun, Stay Asleep’, ‘Disco Day’, ‘My Way’, ‘Before The Stars’, ‘Take All My Heart’, ‘Dream Rider’, ‘So It’s The End’ and ‘Our Season’.

‘The Decade’ serves as Day6’s first full-length album since 2019’s ‘The Book Of Us: Entropy’. Since then, four EPs: ‘The Book Of Us: Demon’, ‘The Book Of Us: Negentropy’, ‘Fourever’ and ‘Band Aid’.
‘The Decade’ also marks the 10th anniversary since the group debuted. Member Young K reflected on the record and their 10th anniversary: “It’s an opportunity to look back on the past 10 years, but it also feels like the beginning of a new chapter. I’m grateful to everyone who has been with us so far, and I feel a deep affection for them. I’m also looking forward to the future.”
