Call of Duty’s midseason update arrives in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone this week, and here are all the major announcements for Season 5 Reloaded. The midseason update includes a DLC weapon, more multiplayer maps, a new scorestreak, and two seasonal events.
Call of Duty Season 5 Reloaded start times
Activision confirmed that Call of Duty Season 5 Reloaded arrives on September 4. The update will go live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST across all platforms.
What to expect from Season 5 Reloaded
New weapon and scorestreak
This midseason update includes a new weapon and scorestreak. The new Gravemark .357 is a single-action revolver, and the Combat Bow serves as the new scorestreak. Both items will be unlocked as free rewards in the upcoming events.

Seasonal events
Nuketown Block Party is a seasonal event with paid and free reward tracks, which is similar to past Call of Duty event passes for TMNT, Beavis and Butt-Head, and Squid Game. However, instead of a big IP crossover, this event’s rewards include cosmetics themed around the Nuketown map.
There is also an event called Operation: Hell Ride. It’s unclear what type of event this will be, but Activision describes it by saying, “The clock is ticking and only the most daring action heroes can hope to save the day before everything goes ka-boom.”
Black Ops 6 multiplayer
New multiplayer map
Jackpot is a new 6v6 map set inside a casino. The developer says this map was inspired by both the High Rollers campaign mission from Black Ops 6 and the Casino multiplayer map from Black Ops 4.

More game modes
Season 5 Reloaded adds three more game modes to Black Ops 6: Cranked Demolition, Ransack, and Blueprint Gunfight.
Cranked Demolition is a brand-new mode that combines Demolition with the mechanics of Cranked. Players must manage a 30-second Cranked timer during these matches, meaning chaining kills, plants, and defuses to keep resetting their timer to avoid exploding.
Previously a limited-time mode in Black Ops 6, Ranksack returns as a mode where two teams battle to steal gold bars and deposit them into their own team stash for points. Blueprint Gunfight is the 2v2 mode that features a variety of weapon blueprints.
Black Ops 6 Zombies
Season 5 Reloaded adds Director mode to Black Ops 6’s final Zombies map, allowing players to get guided support for the main-story Easter egg for Reckoning. Players who complete Reckoning on Directed mode will earn a unique calling card, a “Keepsake” weapon charm, and XP.

Team Cranked returns as a limited-time game mode. This combines the Cranked mechanics from multiplayer to Zombies, requiring players to chain kills together to stay alive and reset their 30-second Cranked timer to avoid exploding.
Additionally, new leaderboard challenges will also arrive with the midseason update.
Warzone
The only announcement for Warzone’s midseason update is the addition of a new limited-time mode called Deadline. This mode is played on Verdansk with 100 players dropping into the match as squads of four.
Deadline has unlimited respawns, but players will need to be proactive throughout the entire match, as the lowest-scoring squads will be eliminated with each circle collapse. Each new circle resets the earned score for all squads, so players will need to constantly make sure they’re earning more by eliminating enemies, completing contracts, looting supplies, and spending cash at Buy Stations.
Additionally, Activision is offering up 20 free battle pass tier skips for any player who simply logs in to Black Ops 6 or Warzone between now and September 16.
Black Ops 7 launches on November 14 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The game’s multiplayer beta begins in October.
