CMAT has been announced as a headliner for LIDO Festival in London next year, and will be joined by Father John Misty, Sharon Van Etten and more.
The Mercury Prize-nominated artists will be taking to the stage for the second edition of the sustainable music festival, as it returns to Victoria Park in London next summer.
Set to perform on Friday June 12, the appearance will see the pop star bring her Very Sexy CMAT Band to the stage, and comes as the singer, real name Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, released her critically acclaimed third album ‘EURO-COUNTRY’ earlier this year.
That record contained hit singles like ‘Running/Planning’, ‘The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station’ and ‘Take A Sexy Picture Of Me’, and the upcoming headline slot at LIDO will follow on from huge slots on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, as well as at Green Man, Primavera and All Points East over this year.
Joining CMAT at LIDO 2026 will be Father John Misty, who is set to take to the stage and break out tracks from his sixth studio album ‘Mahashmashana’ – which will be released later this month – and Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory.
For the latter, the group dropped their self-titled debut album earlier this year via Jagjaguwar, and the band comprises singer-songwriter Van Etten alongside drummer Jorge Balbi, bassist Devra Hoff and keyboardist Teeny Lieberson.

Also on the line-up for CMAT’s headline show at the festival is the legendary singer, composer and transgender activist Beverly Glenn-Copeland, as well as Bristol-based duo Getdown Services, Katy J Pearson, Junior Brother, Jacqui McShee’s Pentangle, and London-based broadcaster, writer and DJ, Zakia.

Arriving for the first time in 2025, the London event is named after Victoria Park’s Lido Field, and promises two weekends featuring “carefully curated music line-ups alongside community-driven activities during the week, all with a strong emphasis on sustainability.”
It is run by AEG Presents, who also organise All Points East, BST Hyde Park and Forwards, and looks to “showcase the most current headliners and work closely with them to curate the line-ups, reflecting their own musical passions, with a strong focus on emerging artists.”
The first edition saw headline performances from Massive Attack, Jamie xx, Charli XCX and London Grammar.
Last month (October 15), Maribou State were the first headliners announced for London’s LIDO Festival 2026, and it was later confirmed that they will be joined by Kelis.
