Both artists shared clips using the audio – which sets Camp Rock‘s ‘This Is Me’ over the hyperpop bounce of ‘Brat’ track ‘360’ – in back to back TikToks, which has stirred up speculation about a potential collab between the two.
That was fuelled by both singer’s engaging with the others’ post; with Charli commenting “literallyyyyy <3” under Lovato’s video, and her returning the favour by leaving: “obsessed! 💚” in the comments section of her video.
It follows recent internet discourse about Lovato being the original “Brat”, which comes after the ‘Heart Attack’ singer has teased a comeback to pop music in recent weeks, which culminated in her sharing new single ‘Fast’ earlier this month.

On their Instagram stories at the time, the singer-songwriter said “a new era has arrived,” adding: “I know I shouldn’t have kept you waiting … but I’m here now.”

Lovato’s last album was 2023’s ‘Holy Fvck‘, which saw her revisit the rock and emo influences that shaped her earliest music. In a three-star review of the album, NME shared: “If ‘Holy Fvck’ is a funeral for Lovato’s pop music, it also marks a new beginning, with an artist reborn. As the musician explores this ferocious sonic world and celebrating her musical roots, it’s the start of a bold new era.”
That year, Lovato signed a new management deal after parting ways with former manager Scooter Braun.
As for Charli, back in June, she played a massive headline show on the Other Stage at Glastonbury 2025, a victory lap for her ‘Brat’ era. She later responded to criticisms of her set, saying: “The best art is divisive and confrontational and often evolves into truly interesting culture rather than being like kind of ok, easily understood and sort of forgettable.”
During her set, she celebrated ‘Brat’ by performing hits off the album including ‘365’, ‘Apple’, ‘Von Dutch’, ‘Girl, So Confusing’ and more. At the end of the performance, she declared that ‘Brat Summer‘ may not be over after all, saying “it’s a forever thing”.
