Call Of Duty Mobile Season 7: Phantom Current arrives next week. This season features a new battle pass with more operator skins, weapon blueprints, and rewards. Phantom Current also adds a crossover event with Girls’ Frontline and an all-new RC-XD car-racing mode.
Season 7: Phantom Current start date
Season 7: Phantom Current starts on July 30 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. This new season launches with a brand-new battle pass with both free and premium items. The Season 7 battle pass has a “high-seas” theme with nautical operator skins and weapon blueprints.
Battle pass details
The main highlight of the free battle-pass tiers is Season 7’s new MG 82 light machine gun, which features a high rate of fire and a large ammo capacity. There’s also the new Bomb Drone scorestreak unlocked in the free tiers.
For the premium tiers, players can unlock nautical-themed operator skins for Farah, Kreuger, Ethan, and Stone. Weapon blueprints are included for the KN-44 assault rifle, QQ9 sub machine gun, Peacekeeper MK2 assault rifle, XPR-50 sniper rifle, and season’s new MG 82 light machine gun.
New seasonal events
The season brings a new challenge pass. Players can complete standard, special, and elite missions to progress through the Season 7 challenge pass. Earned challenge tokens can be used to purchase items in the Exchange, including various summer-themed weapon skins and rewards.
Call of Duty Mobile’s latest collaboration is with the Girls’ Frontline mobile game. The event will have a variety of tasks and ways to earn free rewards themed around Girls’ Frontline.
New RC-XD racing mode
The new multiplayer mode is Mini Mayhem, where players can race RC-XD cars on several maps. Races can be played solo or with up to eight friends in multi-lap competitions. Mini Mayhem features a leaderboard, and players can climb the ranks to unlock custom vehicle skins.
Battle royale adds the Gulag
For the first time, Warzone’s Gulag arrives in Call of Duty Mobile’s battle royale mode. The Gulag will be available as a limited-time event and exclusive to the Isolated Map for Season 7. After the first elimination, players will be transported to a 1v1 deathmatch. All players will be granted one default Gulag attempt, but more can be secured with Gulag Tickets, which can be purchased in the Buy Station.
In other news, Call of Duty Season 5 is arriving soon to Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The season will feature the final map for Black Ops 6’s Zombies storyline.
