From Software fans can pick up Bloodborne’s Complete Guide for $42 at Amazon until October 13. To get this deal, click on the coupon on the store page; the price will drop from $60 to $42 after you add it to your cart. The 30% discount is one of the best we’ve seen since Future Press published the 744-page official strategy guide last October.
The Complete Edition is roughly 200 pages longer than the 2017 Collector’s Edition Guide. This is because the Complete Edition also includes The Old Hunters expansion, which received its own 224-page physical guide in 2015. Along with everything you need to 100% the base game and DLC, the guide includes concept art, a deep dive into the lore of Yharnam, an interview with director Hidetaka Miyazaki, and a reference index for in-game lore.
You could use some of the money you’re saving on the recently released Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep Deluxe Edition, the recently released hardcover edition of the first Bloodborne graphic novel. It’s one of several Bloodborne and From Software books in Amazon’s B2G1 Free Sale (ends October 11). You can also get Bloodborne’s 1-3 Slipcase Box Set, Dark Souls: The Complete Collection, and multiple art books.

Bloodborne’s Complete Edition Guide has a detailed primer to prepare newcomers for Yharnam’s many threats. Mainline objectives are outlined and accompanied by illustrated maps with annotations to help you uncover the many secrets hidden across the interconnected regions in the base game and The Old Hunters expansion.
In addition to mandatory objectives, the guide tackles all of Bloodborne’s optional side content. Most notably, it has a thorough section on the ever-changing Chalice Dungeons to help you unlock some of the game’s best weapons and loot.
You can also use the guidebook as a reference manual, as it contains a full bestiary with in-depth analysis on the monsters who want to keep you in the nightmare. Along with the bestiary, you can reference the weapon and gear catalog to maximize your build’s potential.
The book’s final chapter, Hunter’s Appendices, helps you track your progress toward 100% by cataloging every character, shop, special enemies, and more.
The text is accompanied by work of From Software’s concept artists, making this the ultimate companion for fans of the game. Even if you don’t need a traditional “guide,” there’s enough here in terms of art and lore to make it a worthy addition to your shelf.
Beyond the walkthrough, reference catalogs, and annotated maps found in the main chapters, Bloodborne’s Complete Edition Guide comes with a “bonus chest” featuring the following:
- Exclusive interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki
- The Story of Yharnam – background info on the game world
- The Art of The Old Hunters: 20 pages of concept art
- Lore Index with important reference notes on Yharnam
Note: This guidebook is technically called Bloodborne Complete Guide 25th Anniversary Edition. The anniversary it’s referring to is for Future Press. The publisher gave the reissue of Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium the same 25th Anniversary Edition moniker.

Physical guidebooks aren’t all that common these days, and they generally double as art books and/or have a collectible component to their designs. From Software fans who like strategy guides are quite fortunate, as the studio consistently collaborates with Future Press to produce gorgeous guides for its games. Future Press has released three Elden Ring guides in its Books of Knowledge series. A guide for Elden Ring Nightreign was originally slated to launch in September, but it has been pushed back to February 2026. From Software fans can also get Armored Core 6’s Pilot Manual for $45.
From Software Art Books

Unfortunately, the English edition of Udon Entertainment’s Bloodborne Official Artworks is sold out, but you can get the Japanese edition for $41.80 from a third-party seller on Amazon. Elden Ring’s art books are also difficult to find in stock, but art books for Dark Souls and Dark Souls II are included in Amazon’s Buy Two, Get One Free Sale (through October 11).

Bloodborne’s official graphic novel adaptation has six volumes. As mentioned, the new Deluxe Edition of Volume 1 is eligible for Amazon’s B2G1 Free Sale. A box set with the first three books is also in the promotion, and the box set for Volumes 4-6 will be published October 14 for $50. That said, it’s worth noting Volumes 4 and 6 are included in the B2G1 promotion, too.

Dark Souls Graphic Novels & Manga at Amazon
From Software’s Dark Souls series also has an official graphic novel adaptation as well as a manga that debuted last year. Dark Souls: The Complete Collection, an omnibus with the first four volumes and the Tales of Ember short story anthology, is available for $24.28 (was $35) and B2G1 Free at Amazon. A new series from Titan Comics, Mother of Mourning, releases in paperback next June.
Dark Souls Manga & Prose Novel:
Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree Manga
Speaking of From Software manga, Elden Ring has a manga adaptation, too, but it’s decidedly different from the game, as it’s a comedy. Six paperback volumes are available now for $13 each. Volume 7 will be published November 18, and Volume 8 launches next March.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Manga at Amazon
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice hasn’t received as much love in terms of official books, but it did receive an excellent manga titled Sekiro Side Story: Hanbei the Undying. Published by Yen Press in 2020, Sekiro Side Story is discounted to $11 (was $15) at Amazon.
