Battlefield 6 server status
The Battlefield 6 servers are currently active, though EA has acknowledged some players are encountering issues.
There is a queueing system at peak times, similar to the one seen during the BF6 beta weekends. Based on a queue position of 400,000+ when the Battlefield 6 servers are full, you can expect to wait around 13-15 minutes until you’re in a game. Don’t worry if you’re seeing numbers in excess of 200,000 though–during the beta these only took a few minutes to clear.
During the launch of Battlefield 6, the Battlefield Comms social media team has posted that the developer is “letting as many of you in” as possible, hoping for “relatively short” queues. For any players on Steam noticing that the “Play” button is not showing upon launch, restarting Steam will fix the problem.
The team did, however, also mention that certain players are getting an error message, sometimes advising them to purchase DLC. The team is investigating this issue now.
Do note that if you enter the game to play the campaign but later fancy some multiplayer action, you will have to rejoin the queue since the campaign is hosted in a different client.
Some players are reporting errors including the game not showing as released on Steam–restarting Steam via a forced close in the Task Manager should fix this. After queueing, some reports of the game not being purchased are also popping up. If this happens, close your storefront and reopen it on PC, or restart your console.

You can check the official server status on the EA website, although during peak times this may take some time to update. Bookmark this page for further updates.
