The Fidelity mode emphasizes resolution, while Performance targets frame rate. Fidelity mode on Xbox Series X reaches a maximum resolution of 1440p and targets 60fps, while PS5’s Fidelity mode cranks up to 1440p and 60fps. Performance mode on Xbox Series X reaches a maximum resolution of 1280p but targets 80fps, and the same values hold for PS5’s Performance mode.

The PS5 Pro, meanwhile, ratchets things up to 2160p/60fps for Fidelity mode and 1620p/80fps for Performance mode. You can see the full rundown below. These are all maximum targets, so we don’t know the range of resolutions and frame rates players will actually encounter in different scenarios.

The PC version of Battlefield 6, meanwhile, can reach 2160/4K and 144fps on an official setting or uncapped for people who feel their rig is capable enough. For more, see the full PC requirements.

Battlefield 6 launches on October 10 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A battle royale mode is also in the works.
