Board games are great, but setting them up before you play and boxing up everything after the game ends can get tiresome. Plus, they tend to take up a lot of space in your cabinets and on shelves. Arcade1Up’s solution to these issues is the Infinity Game Board, a generously sized tabletop display that’s loaded with dozens of games and a storefront to add even more to the library. The Infinity Game Board is the compact version of the existing (and excellent) Infinity Game Table. The Game Board comes with a few new features and is now available at Best Buy for $500, which is half the price of the Infinity Game Table.
Featuring an 18.5-inch HD touchscreen and built-in dynamic zoom technology that provides a personalized view of select games without having to adjust your viewing angle, the Infinity Game Board comes loaded with 50 board games and activities that you can play with friends and family on the couch or online.
The selection includes a few classics from the Hasbro library such as Monopoly, Scrabble, and Trivial Pursuit, and if you’re looking to add more to your digital collection, you can purchase more titles through a digital store. There’s also an overhauled dashboard to make sorting through your collection easier, while finding your games and purchasing new ones is designed to be more seamless.
Acrade1Up says that the device offers the look and feel of the traditional tabletop board game experience, and for younger players, there’s a selection of family-friendly games such as Candy Land, Connect Four, and much more. The Infinity Game Board supports up to six players locally or online via its built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
Arcade 1Up has also released deluxe versions of legendary arcade cabinets, which feature accurate decals, sharp displays, and are loaded with cult-classic games. If you’re interested, you can check out more details on the Mortal Kombat, Class of ’81, and Pac-Man deluxe arcade cabinets right now.
If you do have the space and you’re looking to bring the magic of The Super Mario Bros. Movie home, you can also check out various board games starring the Nintendo plumber. From Monopoly to Uno, plenty of games featuring the video game icon are now available from several retailers.
